animal is the Sulcata Tortoise. Most Sulcata Tortoises live in northern
Africa. The Sulcata Tortoise is the biggest African mainland tortoise. Their
carapaces can be 24 to 30 inches. They can weigh from 80 to 110 pounds! They
have broad flattened carapaces that are evenly brown or yellow in color.
Their diet consists mainly of fruits. They eat cactus fruit, plaintain,
desert mallow, and many more things. Sulcata Tortoises can graze and forage
for hours on end. If they eat alfalfa or other hay products they will start
to rapidly grow. Sulcata Tortoises originated from the hottest desserts in
the world. If the temperature around them reaches 104 Degrees, they will rub
saliva on their arms and legs and hide in their shells to keep cool. Sulcata

hedgehog is an omnivorous. It eats spiders, insects, small amounts of plant
matter, and small vertebrates. The hedgehog is known to eat scorpions and poisoness snakes without getting ill. It is a nocturnal vertebrate that can
travel several miles in a night. The hedgehog can grow to be seven to nine
