All About Me

 I have been teaching at BMC for the past ten years. This is my eleventh exciting year at the elementary level. I graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a Masters Degree in Reading, and have an undergraduate degree in Child Care Management and Elementary education. My husband, Mr. Whipple, and I live in Malone and have three wonderful children, Madison, who turned four on Christmas day and Jackson who will be three in July. Our son, Nicolas, was born on April 9, 2011.

    I have many hobbies that I love to share with my students. Some of them include reading, photography, using the computer and playing sports. As a Reading/Resource Teacher I am often able to share these hobbies with my students. I am usually traveling from one room to another to visit students and help the classroom teacher. I really enjoy seeing so many students throughout the day.

    For a couple of class periods during the day I get the opportunity to work with a small group of students to help prepare them for the ELA, Math and Science Tests. We try to have fun while still learning concepts necessary to help the students pass the 4th grade exams.
